Geo Thermal Gas Storage Capacitors

Chris Schimp, the visionary behind Compressed Energy Systems, has revolutionized the storage of compressed gas with his patented vertical method. Utilizing standard HP well casing, this innovative approach minimizes space requirements, allowing for multiple units to be placed closely together and interconnected via piping.

Mobile CNG Fueling modules

Compressed Energy Systems is leading the charge in transitioning truck fleets to cleaner, more sustainable fuel alternatives. Through strategic partnerships with multiple fleet owners, we're spearheading the modification of diesel engines by installing bi-fuel kits and custom-built CNG fuel tank systems.

A Glimpse into Compressed Energy Systems

Located in the rural Shawnee National Forest region of Southern Illinois, Compressed Energy Systems is a testament to a decade of dedication and perseverance. Our journey began with Chris Schimp, a mining engineer graduate from the University of Missouri School of Mines - Rolla, who had a vision of harnessing the potential of abandoned mine methane.
